If your Chime card isn't working with Apple Pay, it's usually a setup issue like incorrect details, an outdated app, or a device compatibility problem, though sometimes card restrictions or limits can be the cause; try updating your app, verifying card/account info, checking device compatibility, or contacting Chime customer support if problems persist.
Yes, you can use your Chime Visa® Debit Card with Apple Pay on multiple devices.
If your Apple Pay® transfer isn't processing, it could be due to: Instant transfer limits – If you've reached your limit, you'll need to wait for it to reset or transfer money via ACH from a linked bank account. Card issues – If your external debit card has restrictions, the transfer may not be approved.
It's super simple! Open your banking app or mobile wallet. Once you're at the ATM, open your mobile banking app or your phone's digital wallet (like Apple Pay or Google Pay) and select the card you want to use.
Contact your card issuer to see if they support Apple Pay. Update to the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS, or visionOS. Confirm that you have Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, or a passcode set on your device. Make sure that you are in a supported country or region.

Transactions can decline if you exceed the spending or withdrawal limit on your Checking Account, or the available-to-spend limit in your Credit Builder or Chime Card account. Some possible reasons for why the transaction is declining even though the digital card still appears in the Apple wallet include: Your card has been temporarily locked. Your card or the transaction account has insufficient funds or limit for the transaction. An incorrect card PIN has been entered at the terminal.
When you link your Chime card to digital wallets, you can make payments without having your physical card present. You will need an active data plan or WiFi in order to make payments or transfers using a digital wallet.
If Chime won't let you transfer money, it's usually due to insufficient funds, hitting transfer limits (Pay Anyone, Instant Transfers), security blocks, or issues with linked external accounts like name/address mismatches or unsupported banks. Check your balance and limits in the app (Profile > Account Info > View Limits), ensure the recipient hasn't hit limits, and verify linked account details are correct before trying again.
SpotMe won't cover non card transactions, including ACH transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, or Chime Checkbook transactions. SpotMe Terms and Conditions.
