Many daily pay providers proudly advertise “No Fees,” but be careful of the fine print! While it may be free to sign up, it's not free to use. Many providers charge a fixed fee every time an employee accesses their funds, sometimes offering up to five transfers a week.

If your earnings haven't been updated in the DailyPay app, we're here to help. Does DailyPay take your whole paycheck? If you did not take any transfers through DailyPay, you will receive your full paycheck on your regularly scheduled payday! DailyPay will never charge a transaction fee for sending you your Remainder Pay. Remainder Pay is what you receive on payday minus any early transfers.
Once you make a transfer, your direct deposit will change to the Daily Pay Account, and you will be paid by Daily Pay unless you decide to cancel. Any updates or changes to your direct deposit information must be done within Daily Pay or there could be a delay in processing your pay.
Your employer entered an incorrect date when processing your payroll. Processing is taking longer than usual due to holidays (payday falling on a bank holiday often delays direct deposits). The direct deposit request was accidentally submitted after business hours.

Here's how it works: At the beginning of the pay period, you'll typically see a higher amount available for transfer. Then, as you work more (which generally means your deductions increase), you will see a slight decrease in the amount made available from later shifts.
DailyPay is not a payday loan. Payday loans often have hidden fees or interest payments that can leave the borrower in debt. DailyPay enables you to access your earnings before payday, and there is no loan to repay of any kind.

Please note: If you have made earnings transfers ahead of payday, you may request DailyPay account closure at any time, but we'll receive one final paycheck from your Employer to cover the transfers that we sent you early, passing along any remainder pay to your bank account on file.
Using this service does not affect the amount or timing of benefit deductions or taxes withheld from your paycheck. DailyPay/Wisely does not receive information about your benefit deductions or tax withholding, only your estimated earned net pay for use in determining the amount of advance funds made available to you.

Why Didn't I Receive My Direct Deposit Early? Getting your direct deposit early depends on when your employer submits your direct deposit information to the bank. If the bank doesn't receive the information early enough, your direct deposit may not arrive early.
If there's no policy, raise the problem as soon as possible with your manager, payroll team or someone in HR. It's usually best to first raise the problem informally by talking with your employer. This can help resolve it quickly if there's been a mistake.
Usually, you'll have access to your direct deposit at the opening of business on your payday — by 9 a.m. In many cases, direct deposits hit accounts even earlier, often between midnight and 6 a.m. on payday morning.

There may be cases where a payment sent to an employee's bank account fails or is rejected. This usually happens if the employee's personal bank account information (bank account and routing numbers) on file with DailyPay is incorrect. The rejected/failed payment will be returned by the bank to DailyPay.

When you have an overpayment and next log in to the DailyPay app, you'll see the overpayment amount and will be asked to choose one of three options. These are: 1 Pay the full amount by bank transfer. 2 Pay the full amount automatically from your next paycheck.
When an employee is actively using DailyPay, the DailyPay Account (DPA) must remain the primary and sole direct deposit account record. In other words, the DailyPay account must receive 100% of all pay, regardless if that occurs on payday or off-cycle.
