Online Through The SBA Website
If you submitted your application online, you can check your loan status through the SBA website. This is the quickest and easiest way to verify the status of your EIDL. Please note that if you applied through the expedited COVID-19 portal, you will be unable to check your status online.
Enter your SBA.gov username. Enter the password that accompanies your username.
How to Check your Personal Loan Status Through Customer Service. The customer service department of the lender can also help you track the status of your loan application. You may either call or email the customer service department to track the status of your loan.
What is my loan number? Your loan number might be on a statement or letter from the SBA. It is NOT your application number. If you do not have a letter or statement, please contact your Service Center or the main SBA help desk at 800-659-2955 if you do not know your Service Center.

One way to check is to review your full credit reports. If you see a hard inquiry from the SBA (Small Business Administration) that means a financial institution ran your credit due to receiving either a PPP or EIDL application. You will need to contact the SBA to find out more.
The SBA released loan information for PPP borrowers under $150,000 last night. This information was held in confidence until a federal lawsuit forced the SBA to release the data. Combined with previously disclosed data, all PPP loans are now public information.
