Use AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You can use AssistiveTouch to adjust volume, lock your screen, use multi-finger gestures, restart your device, or replace pressing buttons with just a tap.
Check and clean the Power button
Remove the case or any protective film to see if it's covering all or part of the button. Inspect the Power button for any damage. Check for debris or dirt around the button. Clean it with a microfiber cloth or a cotton swab dipped in a bit of rubbing alcohol.
Pay with your iPhone
To use your default card: If your iPhone has Face ID, double-click the side button. If prompted, authenticate with Face ID or enter your passcode to open Apple Wallet. If your iPhone has Touch ID, double-click the Home button.
Double-click the side button. When your default card appears, authenticate with Face ID or your passcode. Hold the top of your iPhone near the card reader until you see Done or a checkmark on the screen.
On an iPhone with Face ID, you can also use AssistiveTouch or use Switch Control to confirm payments with Face ID instead of double-clicking the side button.
On your iPhone, go to Settings > [your payment app], then turn on Tap to Pay on iPhone Screen Lock.
Open Settings. In the “Search settings” bar, type NFC. Ensure NFC is turned on. Ensure that you enable contactless payments for the linked card.
What is the difference between Apple Pay and Apple Wallet? Apple Pay is a safe way to pay and make secure purchases in stores, in apps, and on the web. Apple Wallet is the place where you store your credit or debit cards so you can use them with Apple Pay.
