In the TAP app, sign in or create a TAP account. In the Cards section, press (“add card” icon) in the top left. Press “Add a TAP Card on Your Phone.” Once your “virtual” card is added, it will be displayed in the Cards section of the app.
Enable Tap to Pay on Android via settings or by selecting Tap to Pay as the payment method when accepting your first contactless payment. Invite the customer to tap their contactless card or smart device on the back of your Android phone. Once the approved screen is shown, the transaction is complete.

You can also disable NFC in your Android device settings when you aren't processing Tap to Pay payments. Tap to Pay on Android is not compatible with Samsung Galaxy S8, S9, and Note 9. If you're using Square for Restaurants, Tap to Pay on Android is only compatible with Samsung A32 5G and Samsung A13.
