There's no quick fix to repairing credit, but there are actions you can take to improve your credit and make sure your credit report is accurate. Here's how to request corrections to information in your credit reports—a process known as a dispute.
Paying down debt, applying for a secured card and disputing errors are all solid options to repair your credit.
The main ways to erase items in your credit history are filing a credit dispute, requesting a goodwill adjustment, negotiating pay for delete, or hiring a credit repair company.
