Exodus 22:14 - If anything is borrowed, it should be paid back. If what is borrowed is lost or injured, full restitution must be made. Ps 37:21 - The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives. The Bible is clear that when something is borrowed is should be paid back.
Avoid confrontation. A good way to do that is by praying for the one who owes you money. You might say to God: ``Heavenly Father, I lift this person up to you and put this situation in your hands. Please give me wisdom. Please bless this person financially so they will never feel the need to borrow in the future.
Responsibility and Integrity in Paying Debts:
Psalm 37:21 (NIV):”The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.”
Father, I present my finances before You, and I pray for a financial miracle—an increase in wealth and a decrease in losses. I desire to let go of the stress and depression that a lack of money has caused me. Amen.”
We can and should ask God for financial help, but always in the light of what the true purpose of prayer is—to lead us into a closer relationship with and obedience to God (James 4:8). We can pray for financial miracles but should do so with a humble, patient, and trusting heart.
Romans 13:8
8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
1- You can say this Du`a to pay off our debts: “Allahumma ikfini bi halalika `an haramika wa aghnini bi fadlika `amman siwaka.” 2- One of the most beneficial means of attaining provision is praying a great deal for forgiveness.
If you're in debt, tithing should still be a priority. Listen, I know it's tempting to throw that money at your debt, but the discipline and faith that tithing brings are so worth it. Even while you're paying down debt, you can still have an attitude of generosity.
Ask for forgiveness.
Once you have put together this great mountain of debt, bring it to the Lord and ask Him to forgive you for your part in having created it. You may not be responsible for all of it but some of your debt may be due to foolishness, carelessness, love of luxury or lack of self-control.
ESV Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. NIV Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done. NASB One who is gracious to a poor person lends to the Lord, And He will repay him for his good deed.

Psalms 37:21-22 The Passion Translation (TPT)
They break their promises, borrowing money but never paying it back. The good man returns what he owes with some extra besides. YAHWEH's blessed ones receive the land, but the cursed ones will be cut off with nothing to show for themselves.
Listen, if you're knee-deep in a money crisis of your own, I'm here to tell you: God has your back! Trust me, I know it's tough to trust God when you have no money. And although we may feel blindsided or overwhelmed, God doesn't! He'll provide a way through to the other side.
I bring the stress and worry I have about financial difficulties in my life and surrender it entirely to You. Lord, help me to depend on you entirely in my time of need. Give me the grace to trust that you know what is best for my soul and that you carry me through any and all sufferings.
The Still, Small Voice: That quiet inner knowing, that gentle nudge, or the feeling that you're not alone – these subtle whispers are often the clearest signs your prayers are answered and God is working in your life.
God is, however, our source in all times of need—and sometimes he provides miraculously. I want to encourage you to expect miracles wherever they are needed: whether in your body, your marriage, your family, and yes, even in your finances. So many of the miracles we find in the Bible are miracles of provision.
Lord Jesus, I come before you, just as I am, I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In your Name, I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renounce Satan, the evil spirits and all their works. I give you my entire self, Lord Jesus, now and forever.
Psalm 23: A Psalm of David
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake.
I pray to you as I am desperate for help. I need to know that you care, that you love me, be my refuge from pain, replacing my distress with peace, and be my strength when I feel weak and find it hard to carry on.
