You need a FICO® Score of 670 or higher for most U.S. Bank credit cards, but its secured credit cards don't have a minimum credit score. U.S. Bank has a large selection of credit cards. The recommended credit score depends on the card.
U.S. Bank will likely do a hard pull for a credit limit increase if the cardholder requests the increase. You can request a higher limit online or by calling (800) 285-8585, and U.S. Bank must have your permission before they conduct a hard pull on your credit report.

After the change in 2021.2, cash rewards will expire after 36 months, therefore you have to pay attention to this card sometime to avoid losing your cashback. US Bank credit cards are very hard to get approved, so we do not recommend this card to beginners.
U.S. Bank does not have a hard limit on the number of credit cards you can hold with them, but rather the total amount of credit they are willing to extend to you.
There is at least one data point of US Bank merging multiple inquiries in the same day into a single hard pull. That being said, US Bank is quite difficult to get approved with. There is no hard limit to the amount of US Bank credit cards you can hold.
How Often Can You Check Your Credit Score? You can check your credit score as often as you want without hurting your credit, and it's a good idea to do so regularly. At the very minimum, it's a good idea to check before applying for credit, whether it's a home loan, auto loan, credit card or something else.
