Once enrolled, the DailyPay Balance is made available for the employee to make transfers. The pay balance contains up to 100% of the employee's anticipated net earned pay. The remaining balance is automatically deposited into the employee's primary bank account on payday, just like their regular paycheck.
Earned Wage Access Can Be Expensive For Employees
Many daily pay providers proudly advertise “No Fees,” but be careful of the fine print! While it may be free to sign up, it's not free to use. Many providers charge a fixed fee every time an employee accesses their funds, sometimes offering up to five transfers a week.
There will be a flat fee of $3.49 or less for each instant transfer. Fees vary by employer; log in to your DailyPay account for more information. No matter the amount of the transfer, the fee won't change. The fee will be taken directly out of the transfer requested.
The balance could be off because Daily Pay over estimates how much taxes get taken out so you don't take money you don't have. The remaining balance on the main screen will never be how much you are actually gonna receive come payday.
You will have access to any amount up to, and including, the available balance shown in your DailyPay online account. For the first three pay periods after you enroll in DailyPay, your Available Balance will be 50% of your gross pay 25% if you have garnishments, such as child support payments).
If your earnings haven't been updated in the DailyPay app, we're here to help. Typically, there are a few common reasons for this: Weekend (Salaried earnings will never update during the weekend) Day before payday (available earnings goes to $0 so we can send you the remainder pay the following day)
How often can I use DailyPay? You can make up to 5 transfers per day. Choose to make transfers on an as-needed basis or have money sent to you automatically every day. This choice can be made (and changed) at any time by going to the “Account Settings” page at and scrolling down to “Payment Settings”.

If you're closing your earnings account but have made transfers in this pay period, DailyPay will deposit your paycheck on your next payday. If you've made transfers with continuous access from two pay periods, DailyPay will deposit your paycheck on your next two paychecks.
Good news - you'll still be paid on your normal payday in the account that you choose.

Your reported earnings is your gross pay that has been reported to DailyPay. What's available now for early transfer is a portion of your reported earnings, minus taxes, deductions and any other withholdings such as garnishments. Here's how it works: At the beginning of the pay period, you'll typically see a higher amount available for transfer. Then, as you work more (which generally means your deductions increase), you will see a slight decrease in the amount made available from later shifts.
Instant: Money is available instantly, 24/7, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays, for a fee. Next Day: Transfers requested prior to 11:00pm EST are available in the morning on the next business day. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding bank holidays.
Please note: If you have made earnings transfers ahead of payday, you may request DailyPay account closure at any time, but we'll receive one final paycheck from your Employer to cover the transfers that we sent you early, passing along any remainder pay to your bank account on file.
