To download a GST E-invoice, log in to the e-Invoice portal (https://einvoice.gst.gov.in) using your GST credentials. Navigate to the "Download E-Invoice JSONs" section to select "Generated" or "Received" invoices. Select the date range or use the IRN to download the invoice in PDF or JSON format.

To download the e-Invoice generated and received, users need to visit the e-Invoice portal (https://einvoice.gst.gov.in) and log in using their GST portal credentials. After logging in, users will find the e-Invoice JSON download icon.

'e-Invoicing' refers to the reporting of specified GST documents to a Government-notified portal, known as the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP), for the purpose of obtaining an Invoice Reference Number (IRN). It does not mean that invoices are generated by any Government portal.

Saving an invoice as a PDF
If your turnover is below 20 Crores, register on the e-Way Bill Portal directly and enter the credentials. For creating the credentials, refer to the Enable API access in E-Way Bill portal article. Step 3: Select the date range for downloading the E-way bills and click on Download.
The GST registration process can be completed online through the official GST portal at no cost. There are no direct charges for submitting your GST application or receiving your GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number).
