Download the PayPal Zettle app on your Android, and sign up. Enable Tap to Pay on Android via settings or by selecting Tap to Pay as the payment method when accepting your first contactless payment. Invite the customer to tap their contactless card or smart device on the back of your Android phone.
To set up Tap to Pay on iPhone, enable it in the payment app of your choice. To accept a payment, open the app, enter the amount, and present your iPhone to your customer. To pay, the customer holds their card horizontally or places their device directly over the payment symbol.
You have two main options when making payments: a QR Code or One Touch. For the QR code, the store generates a code that you scan using the PayPal app to make a payment. All you have to do is select the 'Pay in Store' option on the PayPal app and select the 'Pay with QR Code' option.

This error occurs during setup on a new device if there is insufficient space to load Tap to Pay on iPhone. Insufficient space can be caused by having too many payment cards setup in Apple Wallet. Try removing one or more cards from Apple Wallet and then try to use Tap to Pay on iPhone again.
To accept the money, you must open a PayPal Balance account and confirm your email address. After that, you can receive money when someone pays to your email address or mobile number. You'll receive a message through the app letting you know you have money available.
Tap to Pay on iPhone is supported on iPhones XS and later on iOS 16 and above, and Android 8.0 and above with NFC capabilities, and Google Play services.
Adding a PayPal or Venmo Credit or Debit Card to Apple Wallet is easy to set up and use for purchases. Users will first need to visit the Apple Wallet app. Users will then select "add debit or credit card". Next, users can either scan their PayPal or Venmo credit or debit card or enter the card details manually.
Important: If you can't tap and pay, check if you've completed the following steps: Check if your device supports NFC. Set Google Pay as your default payment app. Add a card.
You'll need an iPhone XS or newer, and the phone must be running iOS 15.5 or later, to use Tap to Pay on iPhone. Tap to Pay is not currently available on iPad.
Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader until Done and a tick appear on the display.
Open Settings. In the “Search settings” bar, type NFC. Ensure NFC is turned on. Ensure that you enable contactless payments for the linked card.
On your iPhone*, open the Apple Wallet app, press (“add card” icon), select TAP – Greater Los Angeles, input an amount to add to your TAP card and follow the prompt to complete your purchase. On Apple Watch* open the Watch app on iPhone, press “Wallet & Apple Pay,” in the My Watch section, then follow the instructions.
What is the difference between Apple Pay and Apple Wallet? Apple Pay is a safe way to pay and make secure purchases in stores, in apps, and on the web. Apple Wallet is the place where you store your credit or debit cards so you can use them with Apple Pay.
It's a digital wallet, meaning you can use it to pay online without digging your card out of your physical wallet, or you can pay in stores using contactless (NFC or “tap and pay” technology) with the PayPal App. PayPal is what's known as a “staged” wallet, meaning that it processes a transaction in two staged.
