God communicates personally with individuals primarily through the Bible (Scripture), the inner prompting of the Holy Spirit, prayer, circumstances, and wise counsel from others. These methods provide guidance, comfort, and direct messages, enabling a personal relationship and understanding of His will.
They are: His voice, Holy Spirit's guidance, dreams and visions, angelic visitations, and through a trance (similar to a vision). Today, I want to examine two more ways that God speaks. Before I do, let me say that God speaks in many different ways with many different people.

Here are 11 potential ways God speaks to us.
So how can Scripture help us know if God is speaking to us? Well, if a conviction of yours lines up with God's Word, or if you're facing a choice and one of your options lines up with Scripture, that's an excellent indicator that God might be encouraging you to pursue a particular path.
Isaiah 60:22 is a promise of divine multiplication and fulfillment, stating that "a little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation; I the LORD will hasten it in His time," meaning God will dramatically grow the weak or small into something mighty, but according to His perfect, sovereign timing, not ours, bringing hope and encouraging patience and trust in His plan. It signifies that even seemingly insignificant beginnings can become powerful and influential through God's intervention, assuring believers that He will bring His promises to pass when the season is right.
God reveals himself to us through the natural law, through his creation, through his Word, and through the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ represents the fullness of Divine Revelation.

Put simply, prayer is communicating with God as you would with a friend. God doesn't require us to come to Him with large words or fancy language. He longs to hear what our heart desires, our worries and what we're thankful for. Prayer satisfies our deepest spiritual desires and longings.
Isaiah 43:19 means God promises to bring new hope and provision in seemingly impossible situations, making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, urging people to look beyond past troubles and recognize His current work of restoration and transformation, often interpreted as a spiritual promise of renewal through Christ and the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 2:13 means that even when believers falter or lack faith, God remains steadfast and true to His character and promises because He cannot deny Himself, serving as a powerful assurance of His enduring faithfulness and love, even amidst human weakness, and motivating perseverance in faith. While some interpret it as a promise of salvation for weak believers, others see it as God's faithful judgment on those who persistently deny Him, drawing from the context of verses 11-12 which speak of dying/living and enduring/denying Christ.
God doesn't just “speak to your mind” there are 3 main ways He speaks to us. The first and most obvious one is His word. The second way is often through other people. The final way is through our worship, specifically through prayer, fasting, and actual worship.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). We can know God personally by seeing His Word in creation, in our hands, and in our hearts.
Today, we still experience all three ways God reveals himself: through the wonder and order of creation, through the truth and wisdom of Scripture, and most completely through Jesus Christ. When we read Jesus's words, witness his miracles and observe his character in Scripture, we see God himself.
This blessing proclaims the favour of God, it suggests that if God smiles on you, you are in the clear. The lord will purposely cause his face to shine, to shine literally means, it is like the breaking of the new day, He is illuminated. He shines on us with favour.
