Tap-to-pay works with most modern credit, debit, and prepaid cards featuring a contactless symbol (similar to a Wi-Fi symbol). Major networks like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are supported. It also works via mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay) on NFC-enabled devices.

A Tap to Pay on iPhone payment can be declined for various reasons, including insufficient amount in your customer's account, or technical issues in contacting their bank. If this happens, you can ask your customer to use a different payment method, such as a different card or a digital wallet.
The 2/3/4 rule is a guideline, primarily used by Bank of America, that limits how many new credit cards you can get: no more than 2 in 30 days, 3 in 12 months, and 4 in 24 months, helping to prevent over-application and manage hard inquiries on your credit report. While not universal, it's a useful benchmark for responsible card application, though other banks have different rules (like Chase's 5/24 rule).
Curve supports all Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards, even those not directly compatible with Apple Pay. On your iPhone, open the Apple Wallet app. Tap the + icon in the top right corner to add a new card. Select "Debit or Credit Card," and hold your physical Curve card near your phone's camera to scan the details.

What Is the 15/3 Rule?
Tap to Pay not working usually stems from phone settings (NFC off, locked screen), physical obstructions (thick case), expired/invalid card, merchant issues, or app glitches, requiring you to unlock your phone, remove/re-add cards, check NFC settings, update the app, or restart your device to resolve.
While in-store and online payments via Google Pay remain unchanged, the U.S. version of the Google Pay app will no longer be available for use starting June 4, 2024.
