Can I change my Dave ExtraCash due date? Yes. Users can request an extension of up to 30 days, according to Dave. Extensions are approved on a case-by-case basis, but the company says users must request an extension at least two days before their due date.

Does using the Dave app affect your credit score? According to the Dave website, your credit score won't be directly impacted by using the app. The company also said Dave doesn't conduct a review of your credit history when you join, nor does it report re-payments of your short-term loans to credit bureaus.
Don't have the funds? Before we collect the payment, we'll check your bank account balance to make sure that it's safe to withdraw. Then, Dave will attempt to collect the fundsevery day with partial or full payments, but it is still your responsibility to make a payment.

Failing to pay could result in your account going into default, the balance being sent to collections, your lender taking legal action against you and your credit score dropping significantly.
If you can't pay back a payday loan, interest and fees can be added to the balance. Some lenders send unpaid payday loans to collections or take further legal action. Your credit score and ability to take out new loans may be affected.
If your balance remains unpaid after the repayment date, you won't be able to make future advances until you have repaid any unpaid balance of previous advances and related Turbo fees.

If a settlement method that you currently have connected is no longer up to date, you'll need to wait until Dave attempts settlement before you're able to manually settle using a different method. This includes updating your current debit card on file or initiating a manual settlement, if the transfer fails.
