Data Missing or Invalid
This is the most common reason why a transaction fails with a return code 5.

Some declined transactions may prompt a 'response code 05' due to suspicious actions flagged by the issuing bank's anti-fraud system. Factors like high purchase amounts, suspicious geo-locations, or transactions at unusual times can trigger these alerts.
This error code usually points to a lack of permissions, but it can involve many operations, such as running a command at a command prompt that requires administrator permissions, or running an application as an administrator.
