The 180-day rule in GST requires a recipient to pay their supplier for goods or services (including GST) within 180 days from the invoice date. If payment is not made within this period, the Input Tax Credit (ITC) already claimed must be reversed, and interest at 18% per annum is payable.
Section 16(2) and Rule 37
