The word "Allah" now conveys the superiority or sole existence of one God, but among the pre-Islamic Arabs, Allah was a supreme deity and was worshipped alongside lesser deities in a pantheon.
It has been proposed that yā sīn is the "heart of the Quran". The meaning of "the heart" has been the basis of much scholarly discussion. The eloquence of this surah is traditionally regarded as representative of the miraculous nature of the Qur'an.
There isn't one single "most powerful" dua, as different supplications (duas) are powerful for different needs, but universally significant ones include the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah (2:285-286) for sufficiency, the Dua of Prophet Yunus (Jonah) for distress (often cited as "La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minadh-dhalimin"), the comprehensive Dua of Prophet Musa (Moses) seeking the best of provision, and Surah Al-Fatihah, recited in every prayer for overall guidance and blessings. The dua for protection against harm ("Bismillahil-lazi...") and seeking forgiveness (Astaghfirullah) are also considered very potent.
Quran 47:4 (Surah Muhammad), often called the "Verse of the Sword," instructs believers in battle to strike the necks of disbelievers until subdued, then bind them, and later release them either by grace or ransom until the war ends, explaining this is a test from Allah, who could have won without them, and assures that martyrs in His cause have their deeds preserved.

These prohibitions, known as awqat al-karahiyyah, aim to prevent resemblance to sun worship and ensure prayers are offered at their designated, proper times, with exceptions for specific obligatory prayers like Asr if missed.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "There are two which will not be rejected: du'aa at the time of the call (to prayer) and when it is raining.” (Narrated by Abu Dawood) Make as many du'aas as possible for yourself, your family, friends, and the Ummah the next time it rains.
