The "Verse of the Loan" (Ayat ad-Dayn) is Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 282 (Q2:282) of the Quran. It is the longest verse in the Quran, detailing essential procedures for financial transactions, including writing down debt contracts, having a scribe, specifying terms, and requiring witnesses to ensure justice and prevent future disputes.
Quran verse 14:7, from Surah Ibrahim (Abraham), emphasizes God's promise of increased blessings for gratitude and severe punishment for ingratitude, stating, "And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.'". This verse highlights that thankfulness leads to more blessings, while ungratefulness, or denial of blessings, brings severe consequences, a concept repeatedly emphasized in the Arabic text for its importance.
Surah 57, Verse 3 (Al-Hadid) of the Quran describes Allah as the First and the Last, the Outward (Manifest) and the Inward (Hidden), and the Knower of all things, emphasizing His eternal nature, encompassing presence, and complete knowledge. It highlights His pre-eternity and everlastingness, His manifestation through creation, His hidden essence beyond human perception, and His omniscience, affirming that nothing precedes Him and nothing is hidden from Him.
