For same-day domestic wire transfers, funds can only be sent on business days between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. CT. If you scheduled a wire transfer to be sent on a future date, you can make changes until 11:59 p.m. CT the day before its send date.

What time of day does direct deposit hit? Usually, you'll have access to your direct deposit at the opening of business on your payday — by 9 a.m. In many cases, direct deposits hit accounts even earlier, often between midnight and 6 a.m. on payday morning.
The Expedited Funds Availability Act (EFAA) mandates every financial institution in the US to credit funds to a recipient within a business day. As a result, wire transfers within the country are generally cleared within 24 hours.
When transferring to or from your U.S. Bank account same business day transfers cut-off times are as follows: Checking, savings and reserve lines: 12 a.m. local time. Checking or savings payments to a first mortgage: 4:30 p.m. CT. All other accounts: 6:00 p.m. local time.
Pending deposits aren't available for withdrawal; however, they'll generally post to your account within one to two business days. You can check the status of your deposit in your digital banking. Choose your account from the dashboard.
Generally, a bank must make the first $225 from the deposit available—for either cash withdrawal or check writing purposes—at the start of the next business day after the banking day that the deposit is made. The rest of the deposit should generally be available on the second business day.
Same-day ACH, which typically requires an additional fee, processes the same business day. For regular ACH payments, ODFIs generally settle at 8:30 AM the following business day for debit requests, and 8:30 AM the second business day for credits.
Payments to customers at other banks
When you make a one-off payment, automatic payment, direct credit, or bill payment to a customer of another bank between 9am-11:55pm, we'll take the money from your account as soon as you make the payment. Then we'll send the payment to the other bank, normally within an hour.
The night cycle processes ACH transfers, which are electronic money transfers made at night. While the day cycle for processing ACH transfers is 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST, the night cycle usually runs from 10:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
External transfers

Your specific bank transfer time will vary depending on a range of factors, including fraud prevention, different currencies, different time zones, and bank holidays/weekends. In general, the bank transfer time will be around one to five working days.

Pending transactions are payments that would normally go into or out of your account within 7 days. When you use a debit card to pay for something, it reduces the available balance in your current account. Similarly, when you use a credit card to pay for something, it increases your available balance.
In most situations a balance transfer will be processed within 14 days. During this time, please continue to make payments to the account you've chosen to transfer the balance from. This will ensure your account is kept current while the balance transfer is being processed.

8:00 p.m. ET for next-business-day or 3-business-day transfer. Funds will be received by the recipient's bank either the next business day or within 3 business days. 5:00 p.m. ET for same-business-day (wire) transfer.
Saturday and Sunday: Weekend deposits (including ATM deposits) are processed on the next day's business as Saturdays and Sundays are considered part of Mondays business.
The money leaves your account immediately. It's usually available within 2 hours.
If you make a transfer before 6pm (AEST/AEDT) on a business day, the payee will usually get the funds the following business day. If it's after 6pm (AEST/AEDT) or on a weekend or public holiday they'll get the funds within two business days.
Sending a domestic wire is convenient when using digital banking. You can send a same-day wire between 7:30 a.m. CT and 4:30 p.m. on any business day. The exception is the cut-off time for federal tax payments, which is 2:30 p.m. CT. These times apply to incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
When you send a wire transfer, you'll receive a Federal Reference number, or fed number, that confirms the transaction¹. If you're worried about your payment, you can contact the sending bank and request a trace on the wire transfer using the reference number¹.
