In Singapore, the Senior Citizen Concession Card (specifically the PAssion Silver Concession Card) is available to Singapore Citizens aged 60 and above. It is also available to Permanent Residents (PRs) aged 60 and above. The card provides discounted public transport fares, and for citizens, it doubles as a PAssion Card for community benefits.
For Singapore Citizens turning 60 years old, you will receive an Invitation Pack to apply for your PAssion Silver Concession Card about one month before your 60th birthday. Free prescriptions and eye tests for over-60s
You can also get free NHS-funded eye tests from the age of 60 (in Scotland, eye tests are free for all ages). You'll be entitled to free NHS dental treatment if you're receiving pension guarantee credit.

People who turned 65 by Dec. 31, 2025, are eligible for the new deduction, according to the IRS. The deduction provides $6,000 for each qualifying individual, or $12,000 for married couples who both qualify. The tax break is subject to income limits.
