It's because Chime puts the money in your account the same time they receive it, so the time that Chime receives the money changes every week depending on when the person sends the payment gets it sent.
You might get your direct deposit 2 days earlier, 1 day earlier or on your regularly scheduled payday. Here are some reasons why you might not receive your deposit early: Your deposit isn't sent earlier by your payer. Your deposit type is not eligible, such as a bank-to-bank transfer.
Checks deposited through the Chime mobile app typically post up to five business days from the date of the deposit.
You can see pending deposits on the Activity page of your Chime mobile app. Pending deposits appear in gray, then will change to green once the funds are available. In other words, if a deposit is in gray, you won't be able to access it yet.
