Hold your Android device near the card reader and wait for the checkmark. Pay with your default card or select another. Google Pay will handle the rest. Order free stickers for your business to let customers know you accept Google Pay.
On your iPhone, go to Settings > [your payment app], then turn on Tap to Pay on iPhone Screen Lock.

Apple Tap to Cash is a new way to pay friends and family through Apple Cash. You can send and receive funds simply by tapping 2 iPhones together.
You can check whether your Google phone is enabled for NFC by opening your settings. In the search settings bar, type “NFC” and tap to turn it on. If you cannot find it following these steps, your phone cannot make contactless payments.
Apple Pay is a safe way to pay and make secure purchases in stores, in apps, and on the web. Apple Wallet is the place where you store your credit or debit cards so you can use them with Apple Pay.
In the TAP app, sign in or create a TAP account. In the Cards section, press (“add card” icon) in the top left. Press “Add a TAP Card on Your Phone.” Once your “virtual” card is added, it will be displayed in the Cards section of the app.
The most famous ones are PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The basic functionality of these payment apps tends to be similar. You load them with funds from your bank account and/or receive funds from other sources. You then use these funds to make purchases and/or transfer them to your bank account.
To set up Tap to Pay on iPhone, enable it in the payment app of your choice. To accept a payment, open the app, enter the amount, and present your iPhone to your customer. To pay, the customer holds their card horizontally or places their device directly over the payment symbol.
On your new iPhone, review the Data & Privacy screen that appears, then tap Continue. Wait for the Transfer Data from [”current device”] screen to appear, then tap Continue. If the Transfer Your Data screen appears instead, tap Transfer from iPhone.
Contactless payment security
Tapping to pay with your Visa contactless card or payment-enabled mobile/wearable device is a secure way to pay because each transaction generates a transaction-specific, one-time code, that is extremely effective in reducing counterfeit fraud.
Both cell phones and landlines can be tapped.
If a hacker wants to tap your cell phone, they can do so by installing (or getting you to install) spyware on your iPhone or Android. And if law enforcement wants to listen in on your calls on any type of phone, all they'll need to do is contact your carrier.
You can also disable NFC in your iPhone device settings when you aren't processing Tap to Pay payments. You'll need an iPhone XS or newer, and the phone must be running iOS 15.5 or later, to use Tap to Pay on iPhone. Tap to Pay is not currently available on iPad.
Update to the latest version of iOS, watchOS, macOS, or visionOS. Confirm that you have Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, or a passcode set on your device. Make sure that you are in a supported country or region. Check that your device is compatible with Apple Pay.
