To unblock international transactions on Chime, open the app, go to your Profile, select Account details, find the International transactions option, and toggle the switch to green (on) for the specific card you want to use abroad; this enables your Visa debit card for purchases in most countries without Chime charging foreign transaction fees, but remember Chime doesn't support international wire transfers.

An inactive or expired card will undoubtedly lead to a declined transaction. Check your credit card's expiration date and request a replacement if necessary. Also, review any specific activation requirements for international use, as some banks require additional steps for cards to function abroad.
If your card is missing or you suspect unauthorized use, you can block all transactions on your Chime debit card and Credit Builder card. Open the Chime app and disable transactions to immediately prevent new debit or credit card purchases or ATM withdrawals.
If unusual activity is detected, Chime places a temporary hold on your account to review the activity. Holds will be removed once your account is deemed secure. If you're unable to access your account due to a temporary hold, call 844-244-6363.
