The 3 types of giving in the Bible: 1. Tithes 2. Offerings 3. Extravagant Offerings 🔥 #wearevictory.
“God loves a cheerful giver,” the Bible says (2 Corinthians 9:7), and he has given us the opportunity and responsibility to participate. When we give sacrificially with a spirit of thankfulness and compassion, we can truly affect the lives of those around us while carrying out our Christ-given mission.
It is said that there are seven types of givers: The auto givers, who give spontaneously and generously—but only to themselves; the occasional givers, who on rare impulses thoughtlessly give without any high motive; the penitential givers, who give as a species of atonement for their evil as a sop to their conscience ...
The 3 stages of giving: Deference, arrogance and inquiry.

It has been said that there are three kinds of givers: grudge givers, duty givers, and thanks givers.
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” This seems the most familiar version of the golden rule, highlighting its helpful and proactive gold standard.
2 Corinthians 9:7: Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:8: God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
In this article, let us briefly look at twelve types of givers and types of giving in the Bible: 1) The Willing Giver – Abraham, who offered his only son (Genesis 22:1-19). 2) The Big Little Giver – The widow, who in giving two mites, gave all she had (Mark 12:42-44).
God's grace abounds to us giving all sufficiency—not just barely enough, but super-abounding supply given to us to meet every personal need, and overflowing in God's Kingdom work in the world. In all things and at all times we realize God's power working in us to super-abound in every good work.
No follower of Jesus has all the gifts, but all of us have at least one. The Bible says about God and his gifts that “…. he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ” (1 Cor 12:8-12).
The five most common types of offerings include Burnt Offerings, Grain Offerings, Peace Offerings, Purification Offerings, and Reparation Offerings.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Principle number one is this: We are to make giving a priority. So the Bible tells us that giving is to be a first fruit. That we are to give our first and our best. Practically speaking what this means for us is that we're to take a portion of our gross income and give that away.
The Silver Rule is basically the “Negative” Golden Rule. Taleb writes it as follows: “Do not treat others the way you would not like them to treat you.” Stated another way: if you don't want “X” done to you, don't do “X” to someone else.
1) Debit what comes in - credit what goes out. 2) Credit the giver and Debit the Receiver. 3) Credit all income and debit all expenses.
Selfless givers, as you may guess, are the ones who drop everything to help people all the time, which means they tend to fall behind on their own work. Therefore, they usually end up at the bottom of the success ladder (though they're still happier people than takers).
Although givers are the most valuable people in organizations, they're also at the greatest risk for burnout. When they don't protect themselves, their investments in others can cause them to feel overloaded and fatigued, fall behind on their work goals, and face more stress and conflict at home.
Your giving should be: 1) regular, 2) participatory, 3) intentional, 4) proportional, 5) anticipatory, 6) effective, and 7) accountable. These seven principles are timeless principles for Christian giving applicable to all churches at all times.

In Luke 6:38 Jesus says, “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full.” You won't have less, is what He's saying. “Pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap.
Since the priesthood took on the lead role of caring for the needy, to give a tithe to the poor directly instead of the church (temple) was not normal practice. The collective tithe served the needs of the poor, therefore fulfilling God's will to see that all people benefitted from the assembly of believers.
