A Powerful Prayer for Getting Out of Debt
Dear God, I pray for relief from the burden and unbearable weight of debt. I'm so thankful that even though I may have made bad choices that got me into debt, You are much bigger than my mistakes. I ask for deliverance from the stress of debt.
“O Allah, I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, and I seek refuge with You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge with You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge with You from the burden of debts and the tyranny of men.”
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted. Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. O my Lord! I am indeed needy of whatever good You may send to me.
I bring the stress and worry I have about financial difficulties in my life and surrender it entirely to You. Lord, help me to depend on you entirely in my time of need. Give me the grace to trust that you know what is best for my soul and that you carry me through any and all sufferings.
A common dua for urgent and important matters is: "Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel" (حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ), which translates to "Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs." It's a powerful supplication expressing reliance on Allah in times of need.
Another dua for payment of debt
"O Allah I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from hopelessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from miserliness and cowardice and I seek refuge in You from overwhelming debt and from the force of men".
The Prophet (SAW) said: “Whoever takes the money of the people with the intention of repaying it, Allah will repay it on his behalf, and whoever takes it in order to spoil it, then Allah will spoil him” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 43, Hadith 3). A person with debt cannot enter Jannah (paradise) when he or she dies.
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to invoke Allah at the time of distress, saying, "La ilaha illal- lahu Al-`Azim, al- Halim, La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbu-s-samawati wal-ard wa Rabbu- l-arsh il-azim."
Target one debt at a time.
The snowball method has you pay toward your smallest debt first until that card is completely paid off. You then move on to the next smallest debt and the next smallest after that. The idea here is to build momentum in your repayment process.
3) Miraculous Debt Relief: Almighty Father, I believe in Your power to perform miracles. I pray for miraculous debt relief and financial freedom. Let Your favor be upon me. Amen.
You are the God who provides all my needs according to your riches in Glory. I come to You as I am struggling financially, asking for your provision. Remove my fear, doubt, and unbelief. Fill me with Your peace and confidence in the promise of your care for me in time of need.
5) Another Namaz for repayment of debt
In the 1st rakat after Surah-e-Hamd recite Surah-e-Falaq, 10 times. In 2nd rakat after Surah-e-Hamd, recite Surah-e-Kafiroon 10 times, Ayatul Kursi 10 times and Ayah-e-Aamanar Rasool 10 times. After the Namaz recite the same dua in the same manner as mentioned in earlier Namaz.
O Allah, You are the First and there is nothing before You; You are the Last and there is nothing after You. You are the Manifest and the Most High (Adh-Dhahir) and there is nothing above You; You are the Most Near (Al-Batin) and there is nothing nearer than You. Settle our debt and spare us from poverty).”
Some of the best duas for more blessings in money are: 1. "Allahumma inni as'aluka rizqan tayyiban wa ilman naafi'an wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan." Translation: “O Allah, I ask you for good provision, beneficial knowledge and accepted deeds.”
Bankruptcy: You can file for bankruptcy, which in certain cases includes full or partial debt forgiveness. Balance transfers: You can consider taking out a personal loan or opening a zero-interest credit card to transfer your balance and pay off your debt.
“My Dear Uncle, ask Allah for Afiyah for Wallahi, you cannot be given anything better than Afiyah.” It is a simple Dua, Sincerely mean what you say while praying. “O Allah, I ask You to be saved from any Distress, Grief, Hardship, Harm, and don't test me, etc.”
